I want to make a megenta space wig & cant afford the ones online. is there a type of wig i can use as base? like brown afro mabe offical megenta wig? how do you make yours?

Auburn Beehive Wig on eBay

It can be brushed out a little smoother and then you can add your own white sides.

If the eBay source sells out, this source also carries the same wig for $30 +shipping (and even suggests using the auburn version as a Space Magenta wig and shows it fluffed out, minus white strips):

I've never used this seller, but they were mentioned a while back as a source for this wig (I believe it was on the LJ costuming page).

I know how frustrating it is because I shop eBay UK for memorabilia, too. Last time I used my college boyfriend who lives in London (and his wife doesn't really like me!)
