This is like asking a mother to name her favorite child... I could just go right down the list of my movie collection, but I'll spare you the A -to- Z list. Here are a few off the top of my head...

A Clockwork Orange (I found I had a lot in common with Mr. Alex De Large, most specificlly an affinity for the great Ludwig Van's #9, but most of Kubrick's films I adore)
The Dark Knight (cliché I know, but its just THAT good)
The Lord of the Rings (I count all three as just one big flick)
A movie I'm not supposed to talk about (Its in the rules... TWICE)
The Princess Bride (How on earth I went my entire childhood without having seen this, I don't know.)
Almost Famous
The Shawshank Redemption (own three copies of it, yet when its on TNT I stop and watch it anyways)
Amelié (the movie that makes me wish I spoke French, I should have paid more attention in class!)
Shaun of the Dead (I can watch this flick from any point and it just puts a huge smile on my face)
American Beauty (because a plastic bag being blown in the wind brings tears to my eyes).
Stargate (I love SG-1, but the film is just so WOW! i still get goosebumps when they activate the gate for the first time)

A few recent favorites:
The A-Team (say what you will, but its a great SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER flick. plus it looks orgasmic on blu-ray)
TRON: Legacy (I was barely old enough to remember Tron, but this film seriously kicks some serious butt, seriously.)

Some all-time favorites:
-Jennifer's Body (So bad it's good.)
-Detour (Mmmm... noir.)
-Die Hard (The perfect Christmas movie.)
-Ed Wood (I had to watch this one after seeing Plan 9, and I ended up falling a little bit in love.)
-The Scream Trilogy ("Yeah, well, there's no accounting for taste...")
-A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors ("Welcome to prime time, bitch!" -- by far my favorite Freddy.)
-The Last Picture Show (Beautiful. Just Beautiful. Forget the sequel exists.)
-Casablanca (I'm a sucker for the classics. And Bogey.)
-The Expendables (I also like to see stuff get blown up.)
There's quite a few more, but I'll spare you guys.
